Advanced Experiences
Virtual Type Rating (A320)

The Virtual Type Rating course is tailored to guide individuals from minimal or no experience to achieving a "Solo" status in our Airbus A320 simulator. This comprehensive course spans 5 hours of simulator training and 3 hours of ground school, covering a diverse array of crucial topics essential for piloting the Airbus A320. These topics include, but are not limited to:
- Aircraft Start-up from Cold and Dark
- Visual & Instrument Approaches (ILS/NDB/VOR & RNAV)
- Cross Wind Landing technique
- Flight Management Computer (FMC) usage
- Introduction to a Multi-Crew Environment
- A study pack with module information
Our seasoned instructors will be there to guide you, offering valuable tips and advice to maximize your experience during the Virtual Type Rating Course. This course is suitable for individuals passionate about flying, regardless of their level of experience or ability. It also presents a distinctive challenge for those ready to embark on the next chapter of their aviation journey.
This course can be tailored to your individual needs and is split across two days.
The Virtual Type Rating Course culminates in a commercial sector from London Heathrow to Amsterdam and the presentation of a certificate.
Pilot for a Day (A320)

The ultimate experience for any aviation enthusiast or wannabe commercial airline pilot! Whether you’re a seasoned pilot or looking to try something new, this session is perfect for you.
Spread across an entire 8 hour “shift”, start by planning and briefing for a day of flying real world commercial airline sectors. For example you might choose to fly London to Edinburgh, Edinburgh to London, London to Paris, Paris to London. Once your briefing is over, enter the flight deck and start preparing for departure following real world airline procedures and flows. As your scheduled block time nears, start the aircraft up, taxi out and depart. You’ll fly each sector in real time and with real time weather (customisable if you wish).
Throughout the day you will be guided by one of our instructors who will be on hand to answer any questions and ensure you get the most out of the experience. Your instructor will also act as First Officer for you creating a true multi-crew environment. Alternatively you can share the day with another person booking this experience to form your own crew.
Flight Simmer / Future Pilots Rate (A320)

This is a special discounted rate for flight sim enthusiast's or young people who are planning on pursuing a career in aviation.
As a flight sim enthusiast, this package gives you an affordable way of hour building in the sim. There's no maximum slot booking so you choose how many hours to want to use at a time.
As a young person planning on pursuing a career in commercial aviation, this rate give you an affordable way to build time and experience in a full A320 sim guided by our professional instructors.
We will be on hand to help you operate the aircraft, give you tips and enhance your understanding of the aircraft, cockpit flows and air traffic control procedures. If you are already proficient at flying the A320 you can fly solo or with a guest.
This package is strictly for those people who already have an understanding of how to fly and operate the A320, this is not an experience flight or taster session.
Flight Sim Enthusiasts 10 Hour Package

Buy a block of 10 hours simulator use and save money!
As a flight sim enthusiast, this package gives you 10 hours of total time in the simulator for you use as you wish. There's no maximum slot booking so you choose how many hours to want to use at a time. The minimum booking is 1 hour and the remaining hours on account are valid until they are used up - there's no expiry date.
This is perfect for flight sim enthusiasts who want to "hour build" in the sim. We will be on hand to help you operate the aircraft, give you tips and enhance your understanding of the aircraft, cockpit flows and air traffic control procedures. What to expect during your experience
On arrival at our facility you'll be offered refreshments and introduced to your instructor who will brief you on your planned activities. You'll then be lead onto the flight deck where your instructor will guide you through the aircraft's controls and demonstrate how everything works. Then it's time for you to take the controls for your first take-off!
