3Twenty Aviation Teams Up with British Young Pilots to Launch ‘Airbus Academy’ Days for Pilots

3Twenty Aviation is delighted to be working in partnership with British Young Pilots on a new initiative designed to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals. The new ‘Airbus Academy Days’ will give young people the unique opportunity to discover what it’s really like to be an airline pilot.

Taking place at 3Twenty’s professional training centre, the programme includes hands-on flying time in a full-scale Airbus A320 flight simulator, guided by experienced airline pilots and air traffic controllers. These mentors will provide insight, encouragement and practical advice for those considering a career in aviation.

“We’re passionate about opening doors for young people who are excited by aviation,” said Adam Exley, Co-Founder of 3Twenty Aviation. “This programme is a perfect fit with our ethos—making high-quality, industry-level experiences accessible and inspirational.”

Running across July, August and September, with more dates already being planned, each Airbus Academy Day will include:

  • Flying sessions in the Airbus A320 simulator
  • Mentoring and real-world advice from airline pilots and controllers
  • Insights into career paths and training routes
  • Interactive Q&A discussions with aviation professionals

The initiative aims to provide not just a memorable experience, but meaningful career guidance at an early stage for those with aspirations to work in the skies.
